Chantél obtained various achievements at the following shows during 2010
At the recent SA Pony Riders Championship held in Kayalami/Johannesburg, 11-19 June 2010, she achieved a gold medal for Elementary Freestyle. She was chosen to represent the Free State Performance Showing Team and achieved a bronze medal in Working Riding for the team.
At the SA National Welsh Championship held at the annual Bloem Show, 28-29 April, she received a gold medal for performance throughout the year, received 8 trophies for various class winnings, took 6 Championship classes for the entire show and was Supreme Champion of the Bloem Show.
Chanél will represent Eunice and the Free State at the SA School Leagues in September held in Kalayami/Johannesburg.
She received full Free State school colors and full Free State colors in 2010 with her new horse Brylia Cotton Club that was imported from Gauteng in January 2010.
Chanél wish to represent SA at the Olympic Games in the future.
