Juané Jacobs het aan die SA proewe deelgeneem en ‘n 3de plek in die Kumite (fight) verower. Sy is ingesluit in die SA oefenspan wat later vanjaar weer gaan deelneem.

The following students of Eunice are members of SHOTOKAN KARATE ACADEMY and competed in the SA ALL STYLES TRIALS. This was a highly regarded tournament and all the best karateka around the country competed. All three students qualified for the SA Squad by obtaining the following places:

Amber Fellows started karate in 2005 when she was in Grade 1 at the Ryushikan Karate Club in Langenhovenpark which has since moved to Generaal De Wet. The dojo is run by Sensei Tommy Goosen 4th dan.
